Lean Touch Solutions Limited was founded in 2012. The company has partnered with Clients across Europe to improve productivity via a wide range of Lean Transformational, Behavioral changing, Tools & Techniques.

The company was setup to focus on bridging the gap in productivity enjoyed in the Lean manufacturing automotive industry and that of the other Industries. Its founding member Declan Holahan spent over a decade in the lean Automotive industry. Everything Lean was the way of life in this industry.

It was my pleasure to work with you and your Lean Touch Solutions team during the execution of the MSD Biotech Project in Swords. Lean Touch Solutions supported us in the role out and implementation of the Last Planner System on MSD Bio-tech joint venture project, and that effort affected the project meeting every schedule target. This was a very large construction project where Lean Touch Solutions effectively brought all parties together to train & implement with the joint venture on the Last Planner System from construction straight through Commissioning & Qualification.

The work that went into the planning also had a positive affect on the project working over 4 million hours with out a Lost Time Incident. This supported the key project values that centered around Safety First, Quality Always. I look forward to doing more work with Lean Touch Solutions on future projects.

Thomas Le Blanc

Continuous Improvement Manager

Thomas Le Blanc has a passion for Lean Sigma / Continuous Improvement and provides expertise to clients on Lean implementation projects. With more than 20 years’ experience working in the Construction, Food, Pharmaceutical & Logistics Industries, Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge working in previous roles such as, management consulting, corporate account manager, and other operations management roles. Throughout his career, Thomas has delivered numerous cost-saving Lean projects, saving companies 100s of thousands in the process. Thomas is a Lean Sigma Black Belt, holds a first-class honours degree in Computing Science, and a Diploma in Project Management among other qualifications.

Declan Holahan

Managing Director

Declan Holahan is the founder of Lean Touch Solutions Limited. He has a lean automotive background where he spent almost a decade, brings over 25 years experience working with different industries transferring lean tools & techniques to make tangible & intangible savings. He has a passion for lean transformation and bringing new lean approaches to different industries. He led the training and implementation on the first Last Planner System programme in Ireland on the Intel campus. Highly qualified with a BSc in Quality Assurance, Masters in Industrial Engineering & certified lean six sigma black belt. He started his career in the construction industry working as a foreman before moving across to the automotive manufacturing industry. Here he was immersed in Total Quality management, Lean tools & techniques exact to the Lean Toyota production system. He returned to the construction industry with a Large Irish main contractor and worked on rolling out a lean standardised approach from mobilising to completion of large scale construction projects. His focus primarily is on improving Construction productivity with construction teams. He has worked across construction, tool installation, civils infrastructure, modular building, Fibre Broadband infrastructure design & construction, incinerator construction to name but a few. He has led some of the largest lean Construction programmes in Europe on projects ranging in value from €18m right up to projects in excess of €3bn.

Training & behavioural change Manager

Ailis is a specialist in training and development. H-dip in Education. With over 20 years’ experience in the educational sector. She is supporting Lean Touch Solutions on Lean Programme strategy development alignment with behavioural training to help companies create environments that allow Lean to flourish.
